Gangaur
This festival honours Goddess Gauri, also known as Parvati, and celebrates marriage and love. Both married and unmarried women participate enthusiastically in the festivities, creating clay representations of Shiva and Parvati, dressing them elegantly, praying to them, observing a day-long fast for marital happiness, and preparing delectable dishes for the family.
