- Puja should begin with Lord Rama's meditation. Dhyana should be performed in front of the Lord Rama statue that is already in place in front of you.
- Join both palms and folding both thumbs inwards forms to Aavahan Mudra
- Offer flowers as seat to Lord Ram
- Offer water and wash feet of Lord Ram with water.
- Offer water for head abhisek of Lord Ram
- Offer water for sipping to Lord Ram (Achamana)
- Offer mixture of honey and milk to Lord Ram
- Offer water and bath Lord Ram
- Bath Lord Ram with the mixture of milk, curd, honey, Ghee and sugar
- Offer Yajnopavita ( the sacred thread worn over the left shoulder and hanging under the right)to Lord Ram
- Offer scent to Lord Ram
- Offer flowers to Lord Ram
- Offer Gandha, Akshata and Pushpa by picking up from the left hand and leave them near to Lord Rama Murti with right hand
