Get up in the morning before sunrise and take bath after mixing sesame seeds in the bath water.
After this, wear red clothes and take water in the right hand and take a vow to fast for the whole day without eating salt.
After this, along with fasting, take a pledge to donate according to the reverence and financial condition during the day.
Then offer pure water to the Sun God in a copper vessel. Mix red flowers, red sandalwood, sesame seeds and a little jaggery in this water.
While offering water to the Sun, pour water in a copper vessel. Pour the water collected in a copper vessel into the Madar plant.
