1. Place all of the ingredients for the Puja on a plate. Puja Thali goes well with a little water pot. Sit in a position that faces either the East or the North when at the Puja site.

4. After worshipping Lord Ganesha, remember Goddess Ambika by applying Roli and grains to a flower and offering it to Goddess Ambika along with fragrance.
5. Now chant the following Mantra to commemorate Lord Narasimha and put Roli and rice to a flower and offer it to Lord Narasimha along with fragrance.

6. Now, remember devotee Prahlada and add Roli and rice to a flower, which you will gift to him together with fragrance.
7. Holika should be given rice, scents, flowers, indestructible Moong lentils, turmeric pieces, coconut, and Bharbholiye (a garland formed of dried cow dung also known as Gulari or Badkula). While circumambulating the Holika, three, five, or seven rounds of raw yarn are knotted around it. After that empty the water pot in front of Holika pile.

People circumambulate Holika and offer new crops to the bonfire and roast them. The roasted grains are distributed as Holika Prasad.
