On the next day of Diwali i.e. on the day of Govardhan Puja, Govardhan mountain is made from cow dung and it is decorated with flowers.
During worship, incense, lamp, naivedya, water, fruits and flowers are offered to Govardhan. Apart from this, cow is specially worshiped on Govardhan Puja. Animals are worshiped on this day.

On Govardhan Puja, Govardhan mountains are made in the form of a man. Then an earthen lamp is placed on the navel of Govardhan Purush. Along with lighting this lamp, milk, curd, Gangajal etc. are offered during worship and later distributed as prasad.
At the end of the worship, seven rounds of Govardhan are performed. Then the circumambulation is completed by sowing barley.

Govardhan mountain is considered and worshiped as God and worshiping Govardhan increases wealth and child happiness.
On the day of Govardhan Puja, not only the Govardhan mountain is worshipped, but Lord Vishwakarma is also worshipped.
