Raksha Bandhan, or Rakhi, is a Hindu festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. Held on the full moon of Shravan (August), sisters tie a rakhi (sacred thread) on their brothers' wrists, praying for their well-being, while brothers pledge to protect their sisters. The festival is marked by the exchange of gifts and sweets, symbolizing love, protection, and mutual respect.
Ganesha Visarjan Anant Chaturdashi
Ganesha Visarjan, celebrated on Anant Chaturdashi, marks the end of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
