Upcoming Festivals

Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Bandhan, or Rakhi, is a Hindu festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. Held on the full moon of Shravan (August), sisters tie a rakhi (sacred thread) on their brothers' wrists, praying for their well-being, while brothers pledge to protect their sisters. The festival is marked by the exchange of gifts and sweets, symbolizing love, protection, and mutual respect.

Ganesha Visarjan Anant Chaturdashi
Ganesha Visarjan, celebrated on Anant Chaturdashi, marks the end of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. On this day, devotees immerse Ganesha idols in water, symbolizing the deity's return to Mount Kailash and the cycle of birth and rebirth. The festival involves grand processions, singing, and dancing, reflecting devotion and joy. Anant Chaturdashi is also dedicated to Lord Vishnu, where devotees observe rituals and prayers for prosperity and well-being.
